BuiltWorks 2010 supports one of largest bike races in Norway „Styrkeprøven“

SolidACE has presented the highlights of BuiltWorks 2010 ver.1.2 at “Innovasjons-seminar 2010” which was organized by first Value Added Reseller of SolidACE – company ProNor AS (www.pronor.com) in Norway. The seminar was dedicated to SolidWorks newest tools and technologies, and for the applications from SolidWorks Solution Partners. BuiltWorks 2010 solution from SolidACE gained the great interest from the seminar attendees.

The seminar took the whole day on 25th of June, in the eve of one of the largest bike races in Norway „Styrkeprøven“ (“The Great Challenge”), which was held on 26th of June. ProNor has formed a team of bike racers to attend the race. All team was equipped with the same uniforms of professional bikers with logos of all ProNor sponsors and partners, including BuiltWorks logo.

SolidWorks World 2010. Anaheim, CA.

SolidACE Team rock'n'rolled together with Aerosmith Tribute Band from Boston, MA at SolidWorks World 2010, the biggest annual conference of this kind, presenting its flagship product for structural steel design within SolidWorks environment BuiltWorks 2010.

The conference was held from January 31 through February 3, 2010 at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, USA, and hosted around 5000 attendees from Worldwide.

SolidACE was granted an opportunity to present its SolidWorks-based Plant industry solutions at the pre-conference meetings on Sunday, January 31st, with SolidWorks Plant Design Advisory Board, as well as to SolidWorks' selected group of VARs and TTMs.

BuiltWorks 2010 was exhibited at the Partner Pavilion, booth #733, from Monday, February 1st through Wednesday, February 3rd, where SolidACE Team enjoyed meetings with a huge number of SolidWorks Customers and Resellers, as well as Editors of several famous CAD industry magazines from around the World.

At the Partner Pavilion SolidACE Team was also honored by visits of Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation top management - Mr. Jeff Ray, Chief Executive Officer,
and Mr. Bertrand Sicot, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales.

During the Conference, Dr. Vladimir Popov, CEO of SolidACE, together with Mr. Andrej Jarmolaev, Technical Director of IN RE Company, the co-founder of SolidACE, held several breakout sessions for attendees interested in learning more about SolidWorks’ role in plant design:

• Monday, February 1st, 4:30-6:00 p.m. Technical Training Session
  "Plant Design Using SolidWorks Together with Solution Partner Products and Other Standard Industry Tools",
  presented by Dr. Vladimir Popov, CEO, SolidACE Ltd.
  and Andrej Jarmolaev, Technical Director, IN RE UAB
• Tuesday, February 2nd, 4:30-6:00 p.m. Technical Training Session
  "Structural Steel Design using SolidWorks and Solution Partners",
  moderated by Eric Leafquist, Product Manager, DS SolidWorks Corporation
  and co-presented by Dr. Vladimir Popov, CEO, SolidACE Ltd.

On Wednesday, February 3rd, SolidACE demonstrated BuiltWorks live at lunch session for a group of selected SolidWorks VARs and TTMs with a great success, which lead to the signing the BuiltWorks Reseller Agreement with ProNor AS from Norway, one of strongest SolidWorks Resellers in Northern Europe.

It is worth mentioning, that Andrej Jarmolaev, being a Certified SolidWorks Professional, was awarded the Elite Application Engineer prize at Resellers Award Dinner on Wednesday night.

On Thursday, February 4th, SolidACE held the halfday long extensive post-conference hands-on Training Session on BuiltWorks 2010 for registered group of SolidWorks users.

After the Conference, SolidACE Team met representatives from SolidWorks Simulation Department, Dr. Idris Traina, Director of Simulation Product Definition, and Mr. Hari Padmanabhan, Simulation Product Specialist, to discuss the aspects of BuiltWorks integration with SolidWorks Simulation for stress analysis.

North East SolidWorks User Conference

SolidACE has presented publically BuiltWorks 2010 version Pre-Release 1 during North East SolidWorks User Conference (NESWUC) at Westford, Massachusetts, USA on Friday, October 16th 2009 (http://www.neswuc.com/).

Presented version of BuiltWorks 2010, which is the final step to its first commercial release, has attracted the attention of Conference visitors. "We look forward to the commercial version", said majority of visitors.

The commercial launch of BuiltWorks 2010 is planned for mid November.

SolidWorks World 2009

SolidACE presented a conceptual solution of BuiltWorks, the structural steel desigh application for SolidWorks environment, at SolidWorks World 2009, the bighes SolidWorks Corporation's annual event - conference and exhibition, held at Orlando, FL at the Walt Disney® World Swan & Dolphin during February 8 - 11, 2009.
