SolidACE releases new version 3.1 of BuiltWorks

Vilnius, LITHUANIA - May 24, 2012 – SolidACE, a company developing computer aided design and engineering tools for the architectural, building and construction engineering, and plant engineering markets, today announced the release of the new version 3.1 of BuiltWorks, a structural steel design and engineering add-in application for SolidWorks® CAD environment.

    • Direct Bi-directional link in STAAD.Pro format
    • Import and Export of CIS/2 Analysis Model
    • Support of SolidWorks native Weldments
    • Suitable for data exchange with Bentley STAAD.Pro and RAM Structural System, Dlubal RSTAB, CSi SAP2000 and ETABS, RISA-3D, Robot Structural Analysis and other A&D Systems

    • Import and Export of CIS/2 Design and Analysis Models or SDNF format
    • Support of SolidWorks native Weldments
    • Supports basic Connection Detailing features
