Category: Press Releases

We were extremely excited by the response to our BuiltWorks product for the AEC, Constuction and Plant markets solutions. We appreciate the time our visitors gave up to explore their visions and discuss how our solutions could benefit their business within the SolidWorks environment.

Prior to our arrival in Orlando on February 3rd,2008, we were extremely honoured and delighted to have been awarded DS SolidWorks Solution Partner status. This endorses the huge efforts we have been making in developing products for a SolidWorks environment and is an award we are extremely proud to have achieved. Please read about our product on the SolidWorks website.

Our presentation at SWW2009 on ‘SolidWorks in the Structural and Plant business’ should certainly have excited those who wish to integrate existing solutions using the SolidWorks platform. It was clear on talking to many of you that there have been great requirements for a system like BuiltWorks that helps integrate and cross reference many of the specific vertical solutions that exist in the market. We are very excited to be at the forefront of producing the platform to facilitate this need.

BuiLTWorks (Light version) seamlessly integrates the SolidWorks 3D modelling environment with the SolidWorks Simulation applications, for finite element analysis, or other leading structural analysis and design applications like STAAD.Pro, SCAD, LIRA as well as others. Full SDNF import/export functionality allows for flexible and efficient workflow with third party Structural and Plant applications.

BuiltWorks (Full version) will extend further with its ability to model and link to other packages through CIS/2, IFC formats but will also be able to automatically produce drawings and bills of quantities as well as carry out fast and flexible structural component modelling and connection detailing. A further press release will expand in more detail on the products so watch out for that soon.

  • BuiLTWorks (Light version) was launched at SWW2009 and more information is available from SolidACE. Please consult our web site and see how the product can transform your workspace with translators to Structural Analysis products and detailing.
  • Builtworks (Full version) product will be launched on May 1st 2009. For more information please visit www.solidace.com and www.builtworks.eu

On behalf of SolidACE, we thank you for your interest in our products and our company and we look forward to working with you in the future.
