Some of the most important new functions and improvements of BuiltWorks 2010 v.1.3 are:
- Structural modeling updates:
- Updated Member Array placement function – added possibility to exclude selected Members from Array.
- Connection detailing updates:
- Added new parametric Free Plate function for modeling any type of plates, incl.:
- Base types – circular, rectangular and square, triangular, trapezoidal, angle cut, round angle, stiffener;
- Standard steel section profile plates from BuiltWorks Database or Path to Custom profiles
- Redesigned End Plate tool now ties parametrically to the profiles of BuiltWorks members;
- Added new parametric Free Plate function for modeling any type of plates, incl.:
- Drawing Automation updates:
- New tool Create View added for flexible management of Views in Drawings, incl.:
- Sections by Planes in preferred directions
- General Arrangements (simplified geometry) drawings
- Enhancements to Drawing Generator:
- Possibility to choose Scale Ranges
- Extended location limits for dimension lines and placement of annotations
- New tool Create View added for flexible management of Views in Drawings, incl.:
- Interoperability updates:
- Support for CIS/2 data exchange format import and export introduced (only for members – beams, columns);
- Number of fixes and updates in DSTV NC export, including new user interface data fields for ST section, extended support for weldments, etc.;
- Fixed and enhanced Mapping File management function in BuiltWorks Options dialog for SDNF data exchange format import and export.
- Some issues of model export for structural analysis in STAAD.Pro fixed.
