Commenting on the launch of BuiltWorks a company spokesperson remarked, “With so many years of experience in structural engineering, we are excited to bring the benefits of SolidWorks’ 3D modeling and design environment to our field with this great product.

Users will greatly benefit from the integrated workspace BuiltWorks provides in seamlessly combining various engineering analysis applications and industry standard drawing formats within the SolidWorks modeling environment. We are engineers proudly developing tools for our fellow engineers based on our in depth knowledge and experience.”

BuiltWorks provides tools for 3D solid parametric modelling, analysis and design, connection detailing and drawing and report generation, within one intuitive workspace.

BuiltWorks was developed to meet the Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Plant industries requirements for flexible and versatile tools, able to integrate with leading engineering analysis and design software, such as STAAD.Pro, SCAD and LIRA.

BuiltWorks promotes an efficient workflow for single PC users by providing structural engineers with the tools they need in one intelligent workspace and the flexibility to use those tools as they see fit. The software suite also includes adaptive workflow optimisation tools, based on structural design standards and specification requirements.

BuiltWorks supports efficient team workflow in a multi-user network environment. Team members can collaborate effectively, performing the multiple tasks associated with construction design, analysis, creation of general and detailed drawings, and the preparation of specifications and estimates.

BuiLTWorks, an entry level version of BuiltWorks will also be available, and can be easily upgraded to the full function version.
